AN ALL OUT SUBTIL ATTACK ON WOMEN

The keyword in the subject title here is “Subtil” the word means difficult to perceive or to understand. Another word can be applied to the meaning is illusive, which means, something that deceives by producing a false or misleading impression of reality. I’m sure all are aware of the deception that caused Eve in the Garden of Eden to eat of that which God said to not eat from. We all know that the devil used a serpent to spun his deception. The bible refers to the serpent as the most subtil of any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. That attack was not so much against Eve, it was an all out attack against the will of God!

This illusive attack has never ceased regarding women, and it seems the closer we get to the coming of Jesus in the Rapture the more women succumb to this illusive tactic. These subtil attacks today are too against the will of God for women! Single women are being convinced that they can be successful in life without men in their lives. They are also being convinced they are in some cases men, and that they have the right to make choices in whether to complete their pregnancy or to terminate the life of the child. It is apparent that women of the world have bought into this subtil attack. They have also been convinced that they need to leave their homes, husband’s and children to go out into the world and seek their own careers. And many other illusive attacks have been successful in getting women to leave the thought of God’s will for their lives.

It appears that what is taking place in the world is now and have been for sometime influencing women in the Kingdom of God. And no where is it more effective than in the home and in the marriage. All of it again, is an all out attack upon the will of God for women. The bible in the book of Proverbs talks about the Virtuous woman and how her price is far above rubies. It also ask the question who can find a virtuous woman? I find that not many Christian women pray consistently, or read the word of God with regularity, and apply it to their lives. Now I did say there are none, but for sure there are not enough. I personally believe according to the Word of God that women are the strength and backbone of their homes, marriage, and families. Without that woman being subjected to God first, then she is subject to being influenced by the subtil attack on the worlds women.

Remember the meaning of the word subtil is “difficult to perceive.” Satan is the master of deception and can manipulate women of God to become self centered rather than concerned with God’s will for their lives, and lives of their families. He manages to take the weaknesses and failures of husbands and convince women to leave their God given roles to go after their own desires. Thus leaving the family in shambles. Satan knows how to use children against their mothers and accomplish his goals to destroy the will of God for the home. The woman is the glue in that home! Her husband praying for her alone is not enough to thwart the subtil attack on her mind. She must have an independent prayer life, and intimacy with God to make it in these end times. Everywhere you look you can see satan peddling his wares to get into your home and to destroy it! Commercials, television programs, false teachings in church, ungodly music, worldly influences. All are attacks against the will of God for your home and marriage which should be based on Godly principles. The devil don’t care about you, it’s God’s will he’s trying to stop.

Let me reinforce something here, women are far more important and powerful in the marriage and home than what the devil wants you to know and to believe. You have the powerful position of being the strength of your home and family. Satan is blinding women to this every single day! And because it’s a subtil attack, the tendency is look at what is happening, and who is at fault, rather than holding the position God placed them in. I will include an excerpt from my book The Strength of Black America, The Role of Women In The End Times! This applies to every woman, not just Black women. “This woman will need to be completely committed to God in every area of her life. This woman may not be considered to be very wise by society. Any woman who will do the will of God today, ill respective of her color or nationality, may not be considered to be wise by society standards. She may be considered a fool by today’s standards of what a woman should be, but in all actuality she will be a very wise woman in the eyes of God. Proverbs 4:1 “Every wise woman buildeth her house: but the foolish plucketh it down with her hands.”

This woman will not just have a traditional religious experience; she will walk in relationship with God. Her experience will cause her to commune with God. She will love the Lord more than her husband, children, family, and friends. She will want to do all that God says for her to do in His Word, more than what traditional religion has taught and popular opinion dictates. She will not be perfect and will never achieve perfection, but she will be a woman of prayer, obedience, and submission to God.

This woman is not a weak person. She may be mistaken for the kind of woman some consider to be a doormat to be walked on. But she will not tolerate disrespect or ill treatment from her husband or her children. In the case where a husband may abuse his wife physically, sexually, verbally, or emotionally, she must be willing to leave the house until the problem can be worked out. Traditional beliefs cause people to think that to be what God wants you to be you must be weak and willing to to be walked on by others. I submit to you that living for the Lord is just the opposite. There are certain things that a person that is in right standing with the Lord will not tolerate. And the reason they will not tolerate those certain things is because God’s Word will tell how she is to be treated. Being in right relationship with God helps the individual know his or her individual self-worth.

Consider this woman in right relationship with God! She is a woman who is poised, a woman of strength, a woman of honor, a woman of impeccable character, and a woman of beauty because her beauty is within. Every woman can be beautiful no matter what her physical characteristics are if she is beautiful on the inside.

Here is what God has written in his Word according to his will for women. And this is at the very point of satan’s subtil attack on women, because it is God’s will. 1 Peter 3:1, 6 “Likewise ye wives, be in subjection to your own husbans; that if any obey not the word, they also may without the word be won by the conversation of the wives; While they behold your chaste conversation coupled with fear. Whose adorning let it be not the outward adorning of the plaiting the hair, and of wearing of gold, or putting on apparel; But let it be the hidden man of the heart, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price. For after this manner in the old time the holy women also, who trusted in God, adorned themselves, being in subjection unto their own husbands. Even as Sara obeyed Abraham, calling him lord: whose daughters ye are, as long as you do well, and are not afraid with any amazement.” Submission is a taboo word today, but submission is not an action, it’s an attitude. An attitude towards God first then her husband second.

Ladies, men did not write this word! The Holy Ghost moved on Peter and he wrote as the Holy Spirit gave it to him. Here is where the battle ground is, and where satan uses his subtil attacks effectively. Women of the world are not about to subject “submit” themselves to their husbands are any other man. That attitude and spirit has affected women in the Kingdom of God. This is what the Lord spoke in Titus 2:3, 5 and told the aged women to teach, the younger women to be sober, to love their husbands, and their children, to be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed.” Now women that are now saved are not wanting to hear this from the Lord. Because of the subtil attack that has been going on for a long time in the church. Now we have the divorce rate out of proportion in Christian marriages. This is God’s Word, but satan the master deceiver tells women just the opposite. Just as he convinced Eve, he has his hands on Christian marriages. There is a lot said between the verses of these scriptures, that I would love to delve into with explanations, but this article is already much longer than I intended. I will close with these last statements. Isaiah 55:8, 9 “For my thoughts are not your thought, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.” Many marriages are in trouble today, and if the truth be told, if it wasn’t for embarrassment many would be heading for the divorce courts.

I will leave you with this one last statement! If you want to keep suffering, arguing, fussing and fighting; continue to do things your way. But if you want the peace of God, the joy of the Lord in your home, do things God’s way!74
